Investment Rs: 20,000/-
Non-refundable advance of 50% of the total value of stall/s (stalls will be allocated on first come first serve basis) Balance payment by 30th November 2009. All payments should be made by cheque in favour of UMMES.
Advertising Rates for Banner Display
Stall Holders and non Stall Holders can display Banners at the Exhibition site for better publicity. (Banners displayed inside the stalls will not be charged)- Per banner - Stall Holder Rs. 5,000/-
- Per banner - Non Stall Holder Rs.7,500/-
Rates for Additional Power Outlets
- 05A (Single Phase) Rs. 1,000/-
- 15A (Single Phase) Rs. 1,750/-
Terms & Conditions for Stall Holders
- All displays, fixtures, electrical installations within your stall shall be done in such a manner as to be without hindrance or danger to the neighbouring stalls or to the visiting public and that will ensure that your stall will not be a fire hazard. PVC sheathed and undamaged cables must be used for temporary electrical wiring of the booths. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the power supply being withheld.
- No sawing, cutting or chopping of timber and no painting will be allowed within the areas where the exhibition is to be held. Such activity may be carried out outside, in a place approved by the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
- No nails, adhesives, thumbtacks and such like materials shall be used on any part of the premises.
- Nothing should be pasted and/or hung on any of the walls, louvers, windows, doors etc. of the exhibition premises.
- Naked flames shall not be used in any part of the exhibition premises.
- All necessary steps must be taken to ensure that the persons attending the exhibition and / or the agents of the exhibitors, and/or their employees cause no damage to any property (floor partitioning walls, premises etc), furniture, fittings and accessories belonging to the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
- The organizers are authorized to enter and inspect the premises, occupied by the exhibitors, during the periods of stall arrangement, exhibition and dismantling.
- Stallholders and their personnel shall co-operate with the authorities of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, their security personnel and the organizers.
- Banners shall not be displayed on the University premises (outside the stall) without payment of the charges given in the brochure.
- The organizers shall not be liable for any loss or damaged to any goods, equipments or effects. Stallholders are solely responsible for any damage or loss arising from any acts of their personnel or events attributed to the nature of their exhibition, its contents and placements, including damage to the building or any damage caused by fire or unsafe or negligent workmanship of their origin.
- Stallholders will be responsible for any misdemeanors of their personnel.
- The staff engaged in the exhibition stalls may wear a company identity card.
Special Attention
- All exhibition structures / exhibits shall be arranged and completed by 8.00 a.m. on the 04th of December 2009. The stalls will be handed over to the stallholders on Thursday the 03rd of December 2009 at 9.00 a.m. and the stallholders will be permitted to work overnight on 03rd December 2009.
- Stallholders are requested to provide their own security for their stalls, in night on 03rd of November 2009.
- Sheathed and undamaged cables must be use for temporary electrical wiring of the booth.
- Stallholders must not use any floor area other than the area allocated to them. In case they use extra floor area, the organisers will be compelled to charge for the extra space.
- For cleaning, exhibition area will be opened at 8.00 a.m. and the stallholders should arrange someone to be in their stalls, during the cleaning time.
- Stallholders shall not have their audio and /or video systems operating at high volume causing disturbance to the fellow stallholders or the visitors.
- Dismantling of structures and removal of exhibits can commence at 8.00 p.m. on Saturday the 05th of December and shall be completed by 12 a.m. on 06th of December.
